The first arc is over, and lots of elements and threads are just unfinished. Even for modern comics, this seems rushed in pacing and the characters. Melissa's evolution and acceptance of The Discipline seems forced and somewhat contrived as does her tryst with her stalker pray. There is a lot of room for the paranoia to be explored, the sexual transgression to become meaningful, etc. But what mostly seems controversial about this first arc was whether or not there is any "there" there. That remains unclear.

I thought the series was a read . It had a little bit of everything in it.
